The School year is slowing down here. C-man’s last day is today and M goes until June 2nd. C-man’s school has 2 teachers, 2 music teachers, and 2 directors of the program. I try to find something they can use, but I don’t want it to cost me a arm and a leg.
Here is what they received this year

It’s a popcorn container with a bag of popcorn, box of cracker jacks, large chocolate bar, $5 Blockbuster giftcard, and a wooden initial I painted and glued a pretty ribbon to it. The teachers seem thrilled with the gift when we delivered them this morning. The big hit was the wooden letter I had painted. They loved how I had taken the time to make a generic gift more personal.

Here is a breakdown of the costs:
Popcorn containers- 1.00 each- I got these are Target, but I also saw them at Michaels
Wooden Letters- 1.00 each-at Michaels
Ribbon for letters- 1.99 for a spool
Popcorn- 8bags for 2.00
Cracker Jacks- 3 boxes at 98cents
Hershey Chocolate Bar- 1.25 each
Cellophane bags- 3.99 for 24ct. I will now have extras for future projects.
Blockbuster gift card- $5
As you can see, the gift cards were the big expense. Everything else was relatively cheap. I made a total of 6 today for C-man’s school and I have 1 to do for M’s teacher. I didn’t include paint in the price since I have paint in my craft closet. I used a clear sealer for the letters to make them shine.

Where did you get the cellophane bags? That is so cute. My son just started PPCD at the school 3 weeks ago and his year ends June 2. I don’t even know all of the paras that would with him etc. I know his teacher’s name and that’s all. Should I get them all something? I am such a newb!
The bags I got at Michaels. If you are not close with anyone else, then just get his teacher. Since ours is at a church, we are close to the music teachers, directors, etc. Plus they all interact with the kids throughout the day so my son knows them by name and runs to hug them…so that also tells me who I am buying for.
These are cute Lori! Very creative!
