I had never been to a comedy club before. I seriously had no idea what to expect when we went in Austin. I think of the comedians you see doing stand up on TV that pick people in the audience and just completely make fun of them and embarrass them. I was scared to say the least. Luckily for us, we got there a little late and had to sit at the back. That eased my fears a bit.
While the opening act was a little, shall we say, slow…the headliner for the evening was absolutely fabulous! The headliner that night was Steve Rannazzisi. Stephen Rannazzisi plays “Kevin,” the League Commissioner on FX’s hit show The League. I seriously can not remember the last time I laughed that hard. he was a really cool guy to meet as well. Here is a group shot of us when we met him after the show.

How cool is that?! What famous comedian celebrity do you know that will go out and meet the fans after a show? And yes, that’s me right next to him! 
He was a cutie so I wanted to get close!
If you have never been to a comedy club I highly suggest it. If you are in Austin, I really recommend Cap City Comedy Club. They are a clean, nice place, good drink specials, and they have a great line up of entertainers that will get you laughing and laughing hard.
