When I was in LA in June I had the opportunity to experience the new Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park.
Having two boys, I was a big fan of Cars. It is one of their favorite Disney movies.
Cars Land has everything Route 66 has to offer.
The neon lights, the mountains which they named Ornament Valley, and the two lane street heading into Raidiator Springs.
Maters Junkyard Jamboree is so much fun! One cool thing I learned about this attraction is it really is the authentic Mater talking and singing! That is right! They have Larry the Cable guy’s voice doing the singing on this ride! Talk about a hilarious fun time!
Another HUGE attraction is Radiator Springs Racers. I will talk more about this in a separate post with lots of good information and did bits on this ride, but this is the HUGE attraction in CarsLand and is worth the wait in line!
One thing I really liked about CarsLand was the food. They not only made an effort to make healthier food choices available at most locations but they created dishes that were true to the “Route 66″. The funnest place to eat however was the Crazy Cone! Talk about inventive, fun food!
Another ride is Luigi’s Flying Tires! Another icon scene in the Cars Movie.
I had a lot of fun at Cars Land. It felt like I was actually in the movie. You hear all the voices from the film, you see the cars going down the street. It really is a amazing experience and a fantastic trip to take your family on!
Make sure you check out the height requirements as most of the rides at CarsLand do have height restrictions.
