Let’s talk Sunday Night Football in #Chicago #KPRCFlyaway

So, for a first trip to Chicago I think we were going for the perfect thing.

Football.

My family is huge into sports.

HUGE.

Getting to go to Chicago and watch the Texans take on the Bears was the perfect getaway for my husband and myself. It was right up our alley.

First we headed to the airport to fly our very first time with Southwest Airlines. I have to say this about Southwest Airlines, they hire happy people. People who love their job and really care about their customers. It was a nice change from other airlines to have NICE people to talk to. Our crew was amazing. It was such a fun flight. Especially with the crowd of Texans fans we headed to Chicago with. These fans came ready to cheer on the Texans and were very confident in their team.

When we arrived in Chicago it was a lovely 68 degrees and sunny. I will say that Chicago lives up to its name as the Windy City. Every now and then the wind would blow and it sent a chill down my spine. I loved Chicago. It was such a lovely City.

When we got to our hotel, we found out we were staying in the same hotel as the players! We got to see Antonio Smith, Connor Barwin, and Troy Nolan!

Game time was approaching and so were the rain clouds. Not good. We knew Soldier Field was open. No roof like Reliant. We knew it was going to be wet and COLD! Not only did the rain come down but so did the temps. Praise God that our seats were under the covering on the first level! So we were lucky to be out of the rain for the game.We had amazing seats. Yes in Bears territory but that did not stop Texans fans.

I had so much fun on this trip and it would not of been possible with our KPRC Local 2 and Southwest Airlines. Thank you both so much for sending me to Chicago to cheer on the Texans! It is sure to be a trip I will never forget!

*Disclosure: Southwest Airlines is providing air transportation for this event. KPRC Local 2 is providing tickets to the game and hotel accommodations. I am also being compensated for being apart of this program. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
