Over Spring Break we had the opportunity to check out The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center.
It was really great to see such a fun place right in our own backyard. I really had no idea that there was a “resort” so close to home. It was a nice change and a great opportunity for us to just get away, even if it was just for a day.
The kids really enjoyed the pool, even if it was a little chilly for March. That did not stop them from jumping right in and having a great time!
More of a golf person? No problem! The Woodlands Resort has a fabulous golf course!
How about biking or hiking the wonderful nature trails? What a great way to get back to center and become one with the Earth! To see all the great beauty she has for us!
The rooms were nice and clean. We loved the patio that opened up right outside to the pool! Jake and I sat out there for a bit to just breath in some fresh air.
Another great thing about this place was the breakfast buffet. Seriously. It was the best breakfast buffet I have ever had at a hotel. The kids ate everything on their first plate and went back for seconds!
So if you are looking for a great place to take your family this summer, whether you live close by or live in another state, you should definitely check out The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center! It is surely nothing you have ever experienced before!
