It is summer so that means family time and for a lot of people…CAMP OUTS!
I am not a camper. Never have been. Maybe it is because we did not go on camping trips as a family.
The thought of sleeping outside on the yard ground is not appealing to me. And to think about not having access to a bathroom makes me shudder. Plus, it is HOT in Texas. Scorching HOT! There is no A/C when you go camping, you know that right?
Camping out is suppose to be about being together as a family though. I know this. My kinda of camping though is in a cabin in the woods. And said cabin would have a bathroom, beds, A/C, and because I’m a Internet junkie….Internet.
The National Wildlife Federation puts it on the event as a fun way for families, friends and neighbors to get together and spend the night outdoors. If you participate, you have the option of raising money for programs to help all kids get a chance to go camping.
