Summer Time: Healthy Snacks on the Go~ Part 2

by Lori on June 15, 2011

*This is Part 2 in a series of posts for Healthy Snacks on the Go. You can read Part 1 here.

This post has a few things for the kiddos and a few things for the adults in the group.

The first snack we are going to highlight is for all age groups.

Orville Redenbacher- Popcorn is super healthy when you don’t cover it with melted butter and what not. And now there is no need for a bowl! They have the new Pop Up Bowl! No dishes and super easy to use! We like to make a popcorn bar with M&M’s dry ranch dressing mix, paprika and more!

Gatorade-Gatorade has come out with new G Fit Series of products. Perfect for before, during and after a workout or even as a refreshing beverage. My kids love all Gatorade drinks!

Bolthouse Farms- Bolthouse farms has beverages, carrot snacks and dressings. My kids love the carrot snacks of course and my favorite are the Bolt House Farms Herb infused waters(pictured above).  I seriously love those drinks and I hope I can find them in the store soon!

Mary’s Gone Crackers- These on the go snacks are gluten free and made with organic ingredients. You can rest easy knowing they are made from whole ingredients and if you have a gluten intolerance these snacks are perfect for you!

The next one is just for parents!

Water Joe- Water Joe is perfect when you need that pick me up but do not want to have a soda or coffee or even one of thost huge energy drinks.  Water Joe is great for getting your water intake in but also giving you that boost to make it through the day! It helped keep me awake on my drive back home from Austin when I attended Fitcation!

I hope this post helps you find some new snacks and beverages for your family this summer whether you are traveling or having a stay-cation!

** All companies mentioned above were sponsors at Mamamvation Fitcation in Austin. I was given product samples to try. No monetary compensation was made and all opinions are 100% my own.
