I wanted to do something special for the kiddos for the beginning of their summer vacation.
I decided to make “Welcome to Summer Buckets”.
These buckets have a lot of my kiddos favorite things in them as well as a few items for summer activities.
This one is Jake’s. Its red and red is his FAVORITE! He has a red double walled cup since he is always stealing mine. Sand box toys, silly string, bubbles, Skittles, a little tube of Coppertone Sunscreen, a floaty for the pool and water guns!
This one is C-man’s and you see it has many of the same items as well as those popper things you throw on the ground and they make a pop sound.
And here is Madison’s. Silly string, beach toys, hot tamales, and a double walled straw cup.
The most expensive thing in the baskets was the water guns(because I did not want to buy cheap ones that they would break) and the straw cup. Everything else was $2 or less.
The buckets were a HUGE hit and they loved starting off summer with so much excitement!

Oh wow – I love this idea! I’m glad I saw this at the beginning of summer so there’s still time for me to make some of my own! My kids will go nuts LOL
