I had someone ask me what the circuits that I was doing were. They had seen me talking about them on twitter and facebook all last week.
You see, its Hell Week(s) in the Mamavation Applicantion Process. We Haze the applicants. See how serious they are about losing weight and getting healthy. Usually those that can hang with us during Hell Week(s) are the finalist chosen for the voting week. Those girls are the ones we know are tough and they really want it. They want to get healthy and get fit for their families and for themselves.
Here are the workouts we did this past week. We didn’t start “hazing” until Tuesday but I am going to tell you what I did all week.
Sunday- Rest Day
Monday- Walking, housework, etc.- Sort of a easy day since this is my busy work day.
Tuesday- 2 sets of 50 Jumping jacks, Three-30 second planks X2, 10 push ups X 2, 30 crunches, and 30 squats.
Wednesday-50 jumping jacks X 3, 20 push ups X3, 12 bicep curls(I used 5lb hand weights) X 3, 30 crunches X 3, high knees for 30 seconds X 3, 30 squats X 3, 30 lunges X 3, and the chair pose for 30 seconds X 3.
Thursday- 50 jumping jacks X 3, 20 push ups X 3, 12 Bicep curls X 3, 15 triceps dips X , 60 jumping jacks X 3, 30 crunches X 3, 30 seconds arm circles (clockwise and counterclockwise) x3, and 60 seconds of speed bag punches X 3.
Friday- 60 jumping jacks x3, 5 planks held for 60 seconds X 3, 30 crunches X 3, 50 mountain climbers X 3. Then we did a create your own circuit as long as it included 4 exercises X 3.
Saturday- 30 crunches X 3, 50 Jumping jacks X 3, and 15 bicep curls X 3.
Most exercises had 3 sets( X 3) unless other wise noted. You will also note there is some kind of cardio in every workout. Jumping Jacks is the main example. Also, these exercises were not done ALL at once. Each circuit contained 3-4 exercises and were broken up: AM, Afternoon, and Evening circuits.
