Trying to eat healthy on the go can be challenging. All those giant fast food markets are out there, screaming at you and your children with their fried foods and toys with the purchase of a meal. It can even be overwhelming for a mom to try to avoid eating out completely just to make sure her kids eat healthy. As a mom though, I know life can get hectic and crazy and eating out is inevitable. I even at times buy my kids those dreaded kids meals with the toys and chicken nuggets. No one is perfect by any means.
Luckily though, Subway is around and they are trying to make us eat better as a nation.

Subway has also taken the kids meal and made it a healthy and delicious option. No fried nuggets, no french fries. A yummy sandwich your child can get exactly what they want on it, apple slices and ice cold milk.
Subway has also added new items to their menu to help give you more options when you are building your perfect sandwich. My favorite new items are spinach and avocado! Its not exactly a new item either but my new favorite add on is banana peppers.
