Do you set goals for yourself? Do you set a time frame on your goals?
I always seem to set goals for myself that are just too big right now or they can’t be accomplished in a short amount of time. I am not the most patient person on the planet either so I want results YESTERDAY! This usually results in me being upset that I can’t even get one thing right.
I have decide that it’s time to change that. I am going to make goal but just scale them back. I plan to make small, realistic goals each month. Hopefully since I am keeping it small, I can see results in a short amount of time and finally feel great about myself and what I can accomplish. I plan to report each months goals right here on my blog and I will also come back and post which ones I completed and which ones I need to work on.
I hope some of you will join me in this!
Here are this months goals:
- Avoid eating out~ This will be the most difficult of them all!
- Workout at least 3 times a week
- Put up all the laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer, don’t let it get piled up in baskets.
- Stick to my $400 Grocery budget I have set for our family of
There you have it. My 4 goals for the month.
Let’s see how well I can do it!
Will you join me?
Don’t try too many things at once.
Keep your head up and just keep swimming!

hope you are doing well on your goals… i only had two goals for the year… LOL… to work out 5x a week for at least 30 minutes a day and to eat 1800 calories or less!! So far so good!! I have lost 6 pounds since the 4th of January by sticking to my goals!! But it is NOT easy!! Maybe by the middle of the year I will set a new goal!! A goal very similar to your 3rd goal!! But man oh man I hate laundry!!
Actually I am doing pretty good. Especially on the not eating out. Its tough but Im happy that Im making it work. Laundry..welll I need to get better about that. And with the weather being nice again I can at least get a work out in by walking to get Madison from school!
Congrats on your weight loss!
