Make your Own Pot of Gold

by Lori on March 17, 2010

I was a bit last minute in looking for something fun for the kids to do today since its St. Patrick’s Day.

I came across a great site called Make and Takes. On this site there was a post about Making your own pot of gold and I just knew we had to do it! So I loaded the kids up and we headed to get what we needed.

Here are the kids painting their pots. We added glitter to ours to really make them shine.

Here are the kids showing off the finished product.

We used Hershey kisses with Almonds for our candy. The kids had a good time with this and love having their own Pot of Gold! The most expensive thing was the candy so this is actually a pretty reasonable craft to make with your kids!

Here is the link to see how to make your very own!

Of course! Thanks for a great idea!

My daughter wanted the glitter so it was more “girly” and her brother had to copy! ;)
