To Chop or Not

by Lori on April 7, 2011

I feel like I need a change.

With my hair.

I don’t ever get a real haircut. I go to a little whole in the wall kinda place and get a “trim”. That’s it. Nothing fancy.

My hair is usually in a pony tail. 90-95% of the time. When I do have to fix it, I flat iron it and part down the middle…straight plain Jane.

I think it is time to make a change and chop.

I have thick hair and it even has a little wave in the back so I am not really sure what kind of haircut I could do.

I really really like these two styles.

Style A

Style B

I want something easy to fix nice when I need it done but yet I can kinda run my fingers through it and go. I also like the idea of being able to pull the hairs around my eyes and ears back a little.

What do you guys think?

Style A or Style B?

Or Should I just leave it alone?

I LOVE these! They are both pretty much the same haircut, just styled messy and with each girl’s hair texture, so it looks slightly different. That’s why it will be great on you. Since you do have thick, wavy hair, the “undone” look and texture to this cut will be easy for you to style, and will look awesome. I hope you go for it, girl! And be sure to post after pics! :)

I love style A! You are beautiful and will look great no matter how you get your hair cut!

Not a huge fan of short hair. However, your dark hair with your beautiful face looks great. If you are going to change (and you may have already done so) I would say style B. I think the bangs would look good on you.

Well, I bet you already had decided on a hairstyle. But I just want to say that if you want to find a fitting hairstyle for you, find a celebrity that is similar to the shape of your face.

That way, you can get to imagine your end look much more clearly. Just my two cents!

I think you’d look absolutely beautiful in style B. I think haircuts can completely change the way people look, in either positive or negative ways. I agree with Troy, you definitely need to incorporate a celebrity whose face is more shaped like yours. If you want to take a risk, try out style B and I think it might just pay off ;-)
