Back to School Series: Kix Cereal~ With A Giveaway

by Lori on August 23, 2011

This is part of a Back to School Series.

Some mornings there just isn’t enough time or energy to prepare a full sized breakfast for kids. I know for me personally there are several mornings that I continue to hit the snooze until the last possible minute. Plus we all know that kids love cereal. Cereal is just a big part of our society and one of those foods that someone has something they love from the long cereal aisle. As moms though we still try to give our kids the best option when it comes to their favorite cold bowl breakfast.

Kix Cereal is the best of both worlds. This go-to favorite is made with whole grain corn and is an excellent source of iron. It also is a good source of calciumfiber, and Vitamins C and D, providing your family a wholesome breakfast with nutrients they need to grow.  Kix is low in sugar and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Kix has the same great taste you grew up yourself eating but just in a better way!

As their slogan says, Kid tested and Mother Approved!

My kids are big fans of Kix cereal. We even use it when making our own trail mix for the kids to have as a after school snack. So you can use Kix cereal for more than just breakfast!

My 18 year old “baby” still LOVES her Kix…..it gets her to eat breakfast before heading off to school….when there are no Kix, she eats no breakfast. :-(

Kix would help eliminate my son asking for sugary cereals that are not as healthy as Kix. Thanks for the chance!

My son loves cereal, but most of them are loaded with sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Kix is actually healthy and delicious.
