There are sometimes when life is just way to hectic to even consider cooking a home cooked meal from scratch for my family. We have 2 kids who play softball, baseball and spanish class as well. There are many nights that we unfortunately do not even get home till almost 10 at night!
It is on nights like those I like to have something quick, easy, and whole-some to throw together for my family.
Bertolli has come out with a new like of Meal Soups that are perfect for this very occasion. Bertolli Meal Soups are in the frozen food department and are a cinch to prepare. You can literally throw the ingredients in the pot with some water and it is done in no time.
We tried out the new Tomato Florentine and Cheese Tortellini with Chicken. I did not think myself or my husband would like it since we are not big on tomato soup but luckily it was not too over powering and had great flavor. My husband was a real fan of the pasta and chicken as well.
I would most definitely have this soup again and I can not wait to try out the other flavors. I also wish there was a vegetarian option like a hearty veggie soup for a cold chilly night when you are feeling a bit under the weather.
This soup is great for a quick meal or even a nice romantic meal with a bottle of wine!
