Disney/Pixar Brave “Green” Carpet Premiere took place in Los Angeles this week at the Dolby Theater (formally known as the Kodak Theater). This is the theater where the Academy Awards are held every year.
I had the pleasure of attending the “green” carpet event and it was truly a magical experience.
It was amazing to walk the same carpet the stars were taking. In this video below you can see people walking behind the stars at the event. Around the 2:05 mark you can see me walk by in my red dress fidgeting with my hair and trying to contain my excitement. It was magical and something I will never forget.
There were stars of the movie, like Kevin McKidd, who is the voice of Lord MacGuff and his son.

Also in attendance was John Ratzenberger whose voice is very iconic in Pixar films.
There were a lot of men in Kilts as well, including the director Mark Andrews.
I loved the “feel” of the carpet experience. It really seemed to take you away from Los Angeles and place you in Scotland. The “green” carpet was a nice touch, the bagpipes playing as you made you way down, and I loved walking to the end and seeing this amazing Brave Display.
This event is something that I will truly never forget and I am so thankful for all the people who made it possible.
Brave is rated PG and is in theaters today, June 22nd.
