So many people have food allergies that they have to be careful what food they consume. There are so many things that can be cross contaminated, making their old favorite snacks a real health hazard.
The Marvelous Food Company knows what it is like for families with food allergies. They also have children with food allergies and wanted to make a healthy alternative to some of their favorite snacks to make them safe to eat.
They currently have 2 products but are working on many more for the future. Cookies and muffins are their specialities!
Both of our current products are free of major allergens. They are free of: gluten, dairy (casein and lactose), soy, eggs, ALL nuts, corn, yeast, fish, shellfish, artificial dyes/colors and artificial preservatives. We have been certified by a national food testing and safety laboratory to be gluten free. Both our products are certified to be less than 5ppm of gluten. Since the is no test for 0 ppm we are as low as you can be certified for
We are deeply dedicated to making safe, allergen free foods that are delicious and nutritious so kids( and adults) with food allergies can enjoy food and life again.
They are also made on dedicated equipment that never has and never will be used with anything containing the allergens listed above. We feel it is important for people with allergies and sensitivities to feel safe and confident about the products they are buying and eating, so we don’t want to do anything to jeopardize that.
Both our Chewy Gingerbread Cookies and our Chocolate Mini-Muffins are made with all natural ingredients. There is nothing in them that you or your child can’t read or will have to decipher. We only use fresh produce that is never frozen or dried so that you get all of the great vitamins and minerals they contain. Our Vitamins and Minerals are directly from foods and are absorbed by the body better then vitamins and minerals from pills. The produce we use is almost all ORGANIC because pesticides are not good for anyone.
While we’re talking about produce we want to let you know that both products have a full combined serving of fruits and vegetables in every single serving. Each serving is either 2 cookies or 2 muffins and come in individual pouches that are perfect for throwing into a lunchbox, back pack or diaper bag. That will help getting your little ones or even yourself up to the 3 – 5 servings the USDA and most pediatricians recommend.
My family recently had the opportunity to try out some of the Delicious Delights Muffins. We have no known food allergies(other than shellfish) so I was a bit hesitant on the taste. Most of the time when you think of something being gluten free you think it will not taste nearly as good as the same product which has gluten. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were! My kids loved the chocolate mini muffins! They are the perfect little portion sizes, light, fluffy, moist and bonus points for getting my kids to like them!
The little gold packages are fantastic as well! The kids thought they were getting a little surprise each time they opened one! It was a perfect after school snack for them!
