When planning a vacation, trying to decide where to stay can be just as difficult as making the choice on WHERE you are actually going to go on vacation!
Do you want to stay in a hotel, on site, off site, or a rental property maybe? It can be very overwhelming.
When you are planning a trip to Disney World the automatic thought is to stay on site. Let me tell you why I believe you should explore more. get out of your comfy zone and do something new!
Stay off site! Yes you may have to rent a car or use the shuttle where you are staying has, but I guarantee you that in the end staying off site will save you big bucks!
Check out Global Resort Homes if you are planning a trip to Disney World. Global has spacious town homes, condos and even luxurious rental homes for you to choose from. You can find the perfect place for your party size, needs and budget! They have 2 bedroom condos all the way up to 7 bedroom luxury home! You are sure to find something! Each community is very family friendly with tons of events for all ages scheduled at the community centers throughout the day! The community center where we stayed at a billiard room, video arcade, and a movie theater room that seated 40 people!
We had the pleasure of staying in a home in Windsor Hills in February when we went on our vacation. Let me tell you, it was luxury at its finest! Security guarded gates upon entry, luxury resort style swimming pool, clubhouse stocked with games and tons of activities for the kids. It was just amazing! They also offer shuttle to Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios. We drove to Florida form Texas so we had our car.
Our rental home had its own screened in pool which we also had heated since it was a bit chilly in February when we went. The kids LOVED the pool! Even after a tiring day at Disney, they wanted to swim. It was a great addition to the vacation to have a pool right in our own backyard. I love that it had a fence around it so I didn’t have to worry about the kids getting out there alone and falling into the pool. Across the street from our home was a children’s playground. More great fun for the kids just a stones throw away. There were playgrounds located all throughout the community.
Now, being a mom. My 3 most favorite things about my rental house were 1. The Washer and Dryer. Seriously. Yes I did laundry on vacation but this meant we didn’t have to pack a ton of clothes. I did a load almost every night just to make it easier.
2. The fully furnished kitchen. That’s right. I even cooked on vacation. We went to the local grocery store, bought our food and I cooked many of our meals. Including tacos, spaghetti, pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Saved us a ton of money. We were also able to store snacks and drinks to take with us to the parks the next day!
3. The light switches. Yes, the light switches. They were lower than most normal light switches so my kids had no problem going to the bathroom at night or just turning on a light in a room when they wanted to.
Our rooms were magnificent. And LARGE! The rooms are decorated so nicely and some are even themed. My boys slept in a Finding Nemo room. They loved it!
The wonderful customer service of Global Resort even came to the house and dropped off some goodies before we checked it and made sure the house was in tip top shape!
If I had a question or a problem(which I didn’t, everything was perfect) I was able to call them to get that question to get it answered immediately. The customer service is unlike any other hotel staff. This is another thing that sets Global Resort Homes apart from the rest. They truly care about each and every guest and want to make sure you have the best vacation possible.
I know without a shadow of a doubt that when we plan our next trip to Orlando we will be staying in another Global Resort Home. Once you have stayed off site and enjoyed the luxuries and amenities that Global Resort Homes has to offer, I guarantee you will NOT want to go back to staying at some regular old hotel.
Make sure you are a fan of Global Resort Homes on Facebook! They post great deals on rental properties as well as have giveaways for free stays!
**Disclosure: I WON a week stay at a Global Resort Home while I was at a blogging conference. No monetary compensation was made and all opinions are my own.

LOVE having a full kitchen; we always have to budget so much just for food/restaurants when we go out. Having that kitchen would be awesome and allow a vacation budget (especially with theme parks) to farther.
