Have you guys seen Hexbugs? They are these neat little robotic bugs that basically vibrate like crazy to move. They have all sorts of bug options. Regular Nano’s, scorpions, crabs, and larva!
I had never seen them before until I went to BlogHer11. At first I thought they were a silly toy that my kids would never ever play with.
Boy was I wrong! They loved them! Even the 9 year old girl thought they were the coolest toy ever!
We received the Hexbug Glow in the Dark Nano(in different colors).
The Glow in the Dark Habitat set was a big hit as well! The kids enjoyed turning out the lights and watching the “bugs” run around in the dark!
No Halloween Party would be complete without some kind of zombie in attendance and we have the Hexbug Nano Halloween Mutant Zombies! All the kids thought those were the coolest thing ever! We did have a issue with the exoskeleton staying on but the kids didn’t seem to mind occasionally snapping them back on. The kids loved the little coffins too! We actually kept ours to play with later!
Overall the party was a huge hit and I think there will be a lot of kids adding Hexbugs to their holiday wish list this season and I know my kids will be one of them! Even the mom’s thought they were so cool!
