iFitness Hydration Belt Review and Giveaway

As many of you know, I am training to run my first half marathon this November.

Running outside in Texas can be brutal. The heat can be unbearable and the allergens in the air can make it difficult to breath.

As far as the allergies go you really just have to grin and bear it plus make Zyrtec your best friend.

I have so many favorite features of this product! I love that it does not ride up when I run! I have tried several hydration packs and this one is by far the most comfortable to wear! The water bottles do not weigh you down so there is no bumping of heavy bottles or packs. The zipper pocket is perfect for my iPhone as well! I can still have my ear buds on listening to music and carry my iPhone to track my run. No uncomfortable arm band to chafe on my arm. It really is so comfortable and talk about convenience! My fitness MUST have would be THIS if I were to win it! I would LOVE to run with my iPhone (but I don’t have a product to use *yet* to carry/hold it while I Run).

Currently my must have fitness gadget is my ipod w/ the nike+ sensor… but SOMEDAY perhaps I will own and lOVE a garmin? :)

Okay… another MUST have fitness gear: solid supportive sports bra and good running shoes :)

oh… 2 toms to reduce chaffing also!

I often question whether I’m a “real” runner, but I am a runner.

My must have gear is my reflective vest. Due to work schedules, I’m often forced to run during the hours of darkness, and am not fun of being forced off the road while running.

My husband is the runner of the house. He will be running his 3rd full Houston Chevron in January. And we are so proud of him. It’s in addiction! I would love to win this for him. To at least carry his iPhone with him. He runs at Memorial Park and I get worried at times.

My brother is a marathoner but also participates in alot of shorter runs and charity runs- this is who I would send this to :) As for myself, I used to be a jogger- not so much a runner. I still walk/jog but have replaced some of the jogging with walking due to injuries catching up with me. I still carry all the equipment I used to (radio/mp3 player these days, a pedometer etc) and of course a decent pair of shoes is essential.

My running must have-right now is my iPhone, but for the gps. I run at odd times and my husband likes to know where I am-and I have it synced with runkeeper so that friends and family can cheer me on.

I’d also say shoes, but I’m in a transition period right now where I’m using the vibrams for shorter runs and Pearl Izumis for longer and I’m not sure which one I like better. The shoes give me more bounce, but the vibrams help me with my correct form…

I’m running a half in two weeks and then taking a ‘race’ break-just going to do it for fun for 2 months and then in January start training for my first marathon, so this belt would do me some good!
