Wine Wednesday~ Flip Flop Wines

It is Wine Wednesday!

You know what that means right?

Time to get out there, pick a new wine and give it a try!

Let me talk to you for a minute about Flip Flop Wines. 

Flip Flop Wines has seven distinctive wines.  Something for everyone’s taste.

We tried out a few of their wines at a recent event called Mamavation Fitcation. Several of the Mamavation crew met in real life down in Austin, Texas. We had a meet and greet night where we sat and ate somewhat healthy snacks and drank wine as we all watched some Twilight movies. Yes, we love Twilight too.

Flip Flop Wines was a huge hit with the wine drinking gals. We happily poured the wine into our Twilight cups and had a great time getting to know each other a little bit better over some vampire/werewolf action!

A lot of the girls said Flip Flop Wines were smooth and full of flavor. Most who claimed to be “not a big wine drinker” had more than one glass. When I told them about Flip Flop Wines, the cost, and more about the company they were in awe and could not believe a inexpensive wine could taste so good. A few of the girls went home to purchase their own bottles to enjoy after the event!

I for one, love all the wines that I have had the opportunity to try out. My favorite right now though is the Chardonnay. It is a medium-dry wine from California.  Any wine that says it pairs well with mac-n-cheese is a winner in my book! In all seriousness though, the nice pineapple, vanilla flavor is amazing! The Chardonnay was just one of four FlipFlop wines to win the “Best Buy” from none other than Wine Enthusiast magazine in the June issue.

 Another great feature of Flip Flop Wines is that they are easy on the pocket book. There are a lot of wines out there that are super cheap but lets be honest, they taste like feet. Flip Flop Wines are inexpensive but they have the most amazing flavors. Who would of thought a frugal wine could taste so good?!

Flip Flop Wines is also a big charitable contribution to Soles 4 Souls.  For every bottle of Flip Flop Wines sold, Soles 4 Soles will distribute a pair of shoes to someone in need.

What a great company that does that part to give back to those in need! Defiantly makes me want to purchase their wine over others, not only for the exceptional taste but for their generosity to those less fortunate!
