Grilled Asparagus

by Lori on May 12, 2011

Everyone thinks the only thing you can cook on a George Foreman grill is meat.

This is so not true! You can grill just about anything these days, even on a indoor grill.

Last night we decided to grill our asparagus even though the meal plan said to roast it. I am all about NOT turning on the oven these days with this Texas heat Wave.

I simply minced some garlic and added a bit of Extra Virgin Olive Oil to a zip lock bag with the asparagus and let the flavors merry together. When I was ready to cook them I just threw them on the George Foreman. Simple and easy. I think it only took about 5-7 minutes to cook them where they were tender but yet still had a bite to them!

YUM!

This is exactly how we grill asparagus, too! It’s really good.
