I have decide to attempt a full month of menu plan. I hope that this effort will help not only control our eating out, our grocery budget, but the chaos that has become meal time.
I know I am a few days behind but I will let you know what we ate those days too. I mainly picked the main dish when planning. All sides will be based on what is fresh at the store when I go and what I have on hand.
November 1- Baked Ziti
November 2- Leftover Baked Ziti
November 3- Chili(that was in the deep freezer and I warmed in the crock pot)
November 4th Pancakes, bacon, and eggs
November 5th- Out at the baseball and softball fields all day so we will probably have to grab something or come home and have sandwiches.
November 6th- Tacos
November 7th- Baked Potatoes cooked in the crockpot since we have a ball game.
November 8th- White Bean Chicken Chili- New recipe
November 9th- Shredded Pork tacos- meat in the deep freezer, warm in crockpot- baseball game
November 10th- Spaghetti Squash Lasagna- New recipe
November 11th-Baked Chicken Tenders
November 12th-Turkey Burgers on the grill
November 13th- Dinner at the Church
November 14th-Grilled Salmon
November 15th-Roasted Potatoes and Sausage
November 17th- Chili from my deep freezer stash- Im going to see Breaking Dawn at Midnigt!
November 18th- Parents Night Out- Kids at church
November 19th- Thanksgiving Celebration at In laws.
November 20th- Spaghetti
November 21st- Grilled Flank Steak
November 22nd- Pork Chops
November 23rd- Leftovers? Unless my parents arrive this night then I am not sure. Raid the deep freezer?
November 24th- Thanksgiving- Big big lunch then hubby and I are headed to the A&M/ t.u. game! WHOOP!
November 25th- Thanksgiving leftovers
November 26th- Ham and Cheese pockets using leftover ham from thanksgiving
November 27th- Chicken and Chorizo- New recipe
November 28th- Potato Leek Soup
November 29th- Honey Lime Enchiladas- New recipe
November 30th- Leftovers
As you can see, lots of new recipes. Lots of leftovers and utilizing what is already in my deep freezer. All meat listed is already in my deep freezer(minus the thanksgiving turkey and ham) so I will mainly be buying my fruits and veggies. The only eating out is for Parents Night Out. That is the ultimate goal.
