Watermelon Strawberry Margarita

by Lori on June 16, 2012

This drink is perfect for summer time!

Very refreshing and the best part is you can replace the alcohol with water or some pineapple juice and its a fun drink for kids as well!

Watermelon Strawberry Margarita

1 cup of frozen strawberries

3 cups of watermelon chunks, frozen would be best- if not frozen you will need to add ice to the blender

4 TBSP fresh lime juice

1 TSBP sugar- I used organic cane sugar

8oz of amaretto

12oz tequilla

Blend everything in a blender. Pour in a nice glass and enjoy!

We garnished ours with a little piece of mint(mainly for color) and some watermelon.

Oh, wow! I love anything with watermelon in it, and what can go wrong with a margarita? (Well, maybe after three margaritas.) Since we’re celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday this weekend, and she loves watermelon, too, I’m definitely going to make these. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
