From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Guardians of the Galaxy did not disappoint. It is keeping true to the Marvel movies made in recent years. I believe this movie should rank in the top 3 of all the Marvel movies, if not the best of all, to date.

This movie was exiting, funny, adventurous, and the cast did an amazing job of portraying a superhero story whilst keeping a high level of comedy throughout the entire show. The cast’s chemistry was second to none, they seemed to have fun with each other, and each character did an amazing job in their role. Even by casting 2 relatively unknowns (Chriss Pratt and Dave Bautista), after this movie I and the entire world will know exactly who they are. These roles were perfect for them and they nailed it.

I loved the action and combat scenes, it didn’t matter the size or strength, the most skilled usually persevered. I thought the language was borderline for kids, but in the end I was ok with it.

In the end I give this movie 5 stars, loved and enjoyed every bit of it, from beginning to the end, and each of these characters deserve what they have coming for putting out on screen such great performances.
