I have written several post about why you should load your family in the car right now and head to Moody Gardens. It is one of my kids favorite vacation spots! I thought I would share a post with you guys about our top 10 favorite things about Moody Gardens!

1. Location! Moody Gardens is so easy to get to when you drive to Galveston. If I can do it, anyone can!

2. Rainforest Pyramid. Love the addition of some fans so it is not too hot in the pyramid. We love being up close and personal with the animals and seeing all the great plant life!

3. Discovery Pyramid. This Pyramid is always changing programs. One year it was the Body Exhibit and this year it is Music’s history. I love that they bring new programs in often and they are rarely a repeat of what has already been there.

4. Palm Beach. This is a seasonal part of Moody Gardens and it is one of my kids favorites! Lazy river, wave pool, and water slides! What is not to love?!

5. Dinos Live! Also a seasonal event but one that your kids are sure to enjoy, especially BOYS!

6. Aquarium Pyramid. This is my kids favorite pyramid. The penguins are the best and I really recommend the penguin encounter. It is totally worth it!

7. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable about the area they are working in. When we went, the kids had a worksheet of animals they needed to find in the rainforest pyramid and the worker helped the kids find the animals also gave them facts about the animals as they went along.

8.4D Movie theater! When we were there it was Wizard of Oz and at Christmas they show The Polar Express!

9. They are a non-profit group. They work on the Restoration of Animals and Wildlife.

10. Educational for your kids but also so much fun it does not feel like they are learning!

So hop in the car and take a drive down to Galveston! Make sure Moody Gardens is on your travel list!
